What a great item for quilting. The curve in these pins is what you need to hold together your quilt sandwich! Great value for the price. Really like the plastic storage case these pins came in.

Although I had been aware of curved safety pins I had never used them. Pinning through the layers of a quilt is considerably easier with these curved pins. They would especially pay off with a large quilt. These are a good size. They are easy to handle and open and close. Not all the points slid through easily on the finished quilt I tested and it doesn’t have any densely woven fabric, but overall they seem to be well made. The storage box has a good latch, a plus.

This review is for the 200 count pack of 2-inch curved safety pins. These are basically normal safety pins but with a bit of an intentional curve to them. This makes it easy to use them for crafts where you don’t want the pin to sit flat against the material. I opted for the larger 2-inch size, and they’re great. The few that I’ve used so far open and close easily, and these are everything you’d want and expect from this product.

For years I used the regular safety pins to pin my quilts before quilting them and on large quilts it was somewhat difficult to get the pin through all layers and back to the top. Then an instructor showed me these curved safety pins and I knew I needed to get some. I like this set because there’s an ample amount of pins for my needs. They’re sharp enough and strong enough that they go into the material easily and they don’t bend. The curve is so helpful in getting the end of the safety pin back to the top. I’m very happy to have found these.

This is a review of the 200pcs Curved Safety Pins Quilting Basting Pin Bent Safety Pins for Quick Basting Knitting and Quilting (2 Inch).These curved pins are so much easier to use than traditional straight ones.Unfortunately, some of them are not as sharp as I'd like, but they still do the trick.
