This is my 3rd whuzi Audio Bluetooth amplifier that I now proudly own, and in my opinion whuzi Audio amplifiers are on the higher end sound quality wise (highly depending on speaker setup). I overall like the this little amplifier, but have rated it at 3 stars for one good reason... There is a very audible whining sound that can be heard after connecting to Bluetooth, and the sound is a little less audible once music starts playing, but can still be noticed. Power Output: the power output is pretty decent, and similar to the ZK-2000T model that I have, but really lacks the bass and oomph altogether when compared to the ZK-2000T directly. The description states that this amp has dual amplifier chips just like the ZK-2000T and that it uses the same chip, but like I said.. not the same amount of power output here. The build quality is great, except for the bottom of the amplifier. The bottom plate is made of a compressed cardboard instead of being made from solid metal like Whuzi usually does. This doesn't really matter to me, because it reminds me of the material that was once used on the backs of old school stereo systems, where they used a compressed cardboard that had cooling holes in it. The Bluetooth connected very easily once my phone was able to locate it . This little amplifier functions as a Bluetooth capable stereo amplifier that takes up very little space for my use. The performance level is very high for such a small. Incredible value for the money here if you are looking for a stereo system on a budget, and don't have the unnecessary hundreds of dollars to spend. Tip: Go with a pair of 8 ohm bookshelf speakers, wire them parallel. This drops them to 4 ohms ( gives you the most wattage from amp) wire those 2 speakers to left channel. Get 4 ohm subwoofer. Wire subwoofer to right channel . This 4 ohm load will now give you the maximum wattage possible out of this amplifier.

Works well for the price. Gutting my non working radio in my old Studebaker and will be installing this. Bluetooth connects quickly. Pretty loud with the right speakers. Yes you have to assemble, but it includes a screwdriver, very easy. My only dislike is the power wires are a smaller gauge. But other than that this thing is pretty cool!

This is the second one I bought. Installed it in a classic car so I could keep the AM radio in dash. Bluetooth music from my phone and sounds good. Loud enough for me. Even plays voice from google maps over the speakers.

Installed this unit in a 1973 Corvette with a pair of kickers. Now I have Bluetooth technology in a 51 year old classic car without removing the factory radio and keeping the car all original.

I purchased this device on 3 seperate occasions and 2/3 times I was pleased it does what it’s intended great for the price point although the second one I purchased was slightly faulty as the aux port which I was relying on for the speaker system I’ve been making did not function. The other 2 I had bought were completely fine and the faulty one is still usable with Bluetooth just not aux which I wanted

For 30 bucks this thing is really nice, being an audiophile I was very surprised. Some minor case assembly, like 8 screws, easy enough (they give you the screwdriver)I want to use this in one of my Classic cars and did a bench test. With a pair of my quality 4 ohm, 6" speakers, this little thing cranks pretty good with excellent mid range and highs (it only has a volume control like most blue tooth speaker devices). I added high end sub woofer and that really tied everything in nicely.I purchased a slim powered woofer for the car to add to this, I have not tested it with that sub yet.Pros: Inexpensive, good construction, very good audio for a 3" x 2" device. Has large DC voltage rangeCons: Speaker terminals are a bit small for larger wire and only has one hookup per channel. No individual bass and treble controls (I think there is another model that does have those)

Installed under the dash of my 66 gmc truck, overheats and stops working fast. I had a second one replaced and still overheats and stops working fast

This little fella packs quite a punch! I installed it in my classic car, together with some used Bose speakers I had kicking around, and was absolutely amazed by the sound! Crisp, clear, and better than the last aftermarket one I purchased for a LOT more $! I would definitely buy again. And, since I have two more speakers, might buy another for my garage!

I'm a hardcore audiophile, the kind who CAN hear a difference between different cables in my various systems. I'm also a vintage audio collector and recently got a JVC RC-M70 as a nice throw-back to my teenage years. But I wanted to add bluetooth capabilities to it and found this module as a possible solution.I got this little amp today and before engineering its install in the boombox, I hooked it up to some spare speakers lying about to see how it would do in that role. I used a variable power supply (rated up to 30v and 5A) to test how it would perform with various voltages, and to see the current draw at different outputs. I also measured the temperature the unit ran at (to see if I'd have any problems with the case install.Using some vintage speakers (Paradigm 9SE's @ 4ohms, Polk Monitor 5B's @ 6ohms and Yamaha passive studio monitors at 8ohms) I ran a broad range of music through it and... it was stunningly fantastic!I was able to get over 100dB (db-A weighted) of clean, detailed, seductive sound of out this thing. Totally amazing. The sound is predictably solid-state crisp. Folks looking for that old warm tube sound should look elsewhere. But this is not a harsh, dry amp at all. At this price point (and frankly at many times this price!) the sound is clean, crisp and surprisingly detailed. Sound staging is convincingly wide and nuanced, with speakers, while not disappearing in a way that high-end gear allows, certainly becoming less of a focus, the music becoming a nicely blended wall of sound. After an hour of running this amp hard - the cooling fins measured about 34C - so I would not worry too much about putting it in a case - but this was without having installed the supplied covers. On that note - anyone complaining about having to "put this together" is mistaken. The amp is supplied with optional top and bottom panels and the volume knob not attached. That keeps assembly costs (and therefore the price to us buyers) lower, and leaves the amp ready for install in various DIY projects as needed. It's not like you get a bare PCB and a bunch of SMD bits to try and solder together. The amp is ready to play out of the box.Others have noted that power supply matter a lot for this amp. While I haven't yet taken any measurements, I didn't hear a tremendous degradation in sound between 20V and 12V. Max amperage draw I saw was a transient .45A. Things get a little less pretty below 10V (But if the volume is kept low, you'll get away with it) and I was able to keep it running as low as 4.9V, but note - it won't power up and connect at that voltage. My goal is to power it with a 12V LioN battery. I suspect that will be sufficient.Frankly - I'm completely blown away by both the power and fidelity of this tiny package. Class D is here to stay and I'm eagerly looking forward to how this is going to transform my old JVC boombox!HIGHLY recommended.

I don’t tend to review products, but I have to say, I’m very happy (day 1) with this amp. I’m powering two 100w theater speakers off this and the sound is extremely clean even at low volume. Note: you need to buy a REAL power supply. I’ve got a 24v 10A power supply hooked up to this thing to power these speakers. It’s way better than the $100 200w Pyle amp I’ve been using. I’m a huge fan of Pyle, but their Bluetooth amps seem to be junk. This little amp is super clean and powerful when it’s got the right power supply and speakers.
