These blades were needed to fit a basic mat cutter. My wife wanted a simple mat cutter because she has a deluxe mat cutter that she doesn't know how to use. She got a very simple mat cutter from a garage sale that did not have a blade. These blades fit that mat cutter. I had to figure out how the basic mat cutter works. I fear that it may be too primitive for her to use because it has no guides or straightedge to keep the cut straight. Oh well, at least these blades also fit into Exacto knives.

They do fit my classic Dexter cutter and appear to be good blades. However, the lot I received all have tiny spurs on the edge of the body, and that make them hang up before fully seating in the clamp. I knocked that off with a file, and they are now okay.

Perfect. Blades fit and work exactly as they should, can't ask for more than that. Razor sharp. Love my Dexter mat cutter!
