TOTAL PREPARE MREs meet and even exceed military requirements with an average of nearly 1200 calories per kit. TOTAL PREPARE MRE meals have up to a 5 year shelf life if stored in temperatures up to 21° C. They also still have a 3-year lifespan between 22-27° C.

I purchased this kit believing I was getting the 12 individual meal kits that was advertised. I put it away for emergency usage, I'm now finding out, while preparing for a winter camping journey that it only contains 8 individual meal kits! Sooo not acceptable! I suggest anyone purchasing this package open it upon arrival and verify it's contents!**UPDATE** I Felt it necessary to update my review! After reaching out to the seller regarding the missing meal kits in my order, Jordan contacted me in a rather prompt response to offer to make it right. He offered to send replacements for the 4 meal kits that were missing. They sent them out via courier, and I'm very satisfied with their customer service! If you're looking to invest in some great military style rations, and build up a quality emergency stash or just looking for something to take along on yur next camping or hiking trip, these are the ideal kits to have!I highly recommend you give them a shot! They taste great, and provide the necessary calories and protein to get you through the day.

These arrived within a couple days. They were undamaged and the manufacture date code was Feb 2024. I don't plan on eating these unless I need to; I have eaten many MRE's in the military and video reviews for this product show the menu to be pretty good. I am happy with this purchase.

It’s really simple to cook up a good meal. I found you want to get the heater going for at least 8 minutes, the package says 5 minutes.All the food is really solid stuff, sits well in the gut. I found the taste pretty good, the only thing is food texture, which is impossible to solve in a MRE.I’ve bought a few boxes now, and had great service with a ups shipping problem.

I’ve eaten a lot of rations in my 20 years in the military from various countries. These were hands-down. The best tasting only issue is near impossible to figure out the expiry date need to print it clearly on the box not a QR code or some sort of very difficult to determine date simply put on the box gate. It was manufactured date they expire no-brainer like every other ration I’ve dealt with over the years.
