This fan seems to be intended for performing arts, as it is built to a larger size, but I purchased it for personal use. While the larger size is not as travel-friendly, it provides more air per flap, so I think that is a fair tradeoff, especially in sweltering weather. Aesthetically, I opted for this specific fan because it is a solid black, so it is minimalist. The build quality is much more durable than traditional fans because it is made with thick plastic instead of flimsy wood and paper. It is also held together by a screw that does not budge. I was not expecting such an enjoyable and luxurious experience with a product as simple as a manual hand fan.

The Fan I ordered does not make any clapping noise. I am disappointed in what was advertised or I wouldn't have ordered it. I need a fan that Snaps, Clapping noise or something and it is just silent!!!!! I am so disappointed in your advertising as to what this fan will do!!!!
