The Kobra 3 and Kobra S1 series can't go below 45c on the hot plate setting and this will lead to super adhesion with it being very difficult to remove your PLA from the plate. You can set the slicer to1c and as long as you don't touch the controls on the printer itself, it will "mostly" stay at ambient temp. They should put this in the AnyCubic specific plate descriptions.

I've got about 10 prints in with PLA and it seems to work as advertised. I got this because my BIQU plate stopped gripping after a couple months regardless of how I cleaned it.I'll update my review if this changes after a few months.

This is a great build plate. It requires no head just room temp and holds PLA prints firm with no adhesion issues.

Set the temperature to room temperature, experimented with 0c, 1c, 30c and no PLA would stick to the plate. I tried several different rolls, some straight out of the dryer with no luck whatsoever. I just went back to the stock plate and had no issues. Maybe it works for some but I was unable to make any PLA stick to it after following the instructions unfortunately.Update: Had to set it at exactly 40c to get it to work, so it does actually work and works well, I would just recommend a more thorough how to use them is given out of the box currently.

First, to answer the obvious question. Yes, this does work without heating the build plate at all. I use Bambu Studios with all of my Bambu printers, and I have created custom profiles for my most commonly used filaments that have the temperature set to 1 degree Celsius, (well below normal room temperature). I have had no issues with prints adhering since switching to these plates. No more glues, no more hairspray, just perfect prints. It has been wonderful. I haven't really tracked wether this is having an impact on the overall cost of operation of my printers, but I don't see how it can be hurting. I might also mention that I used to have some experience with heat creep when using PLA with my X1C, and that has disappeared completely. (I know that this was mostly caused by user issues and not having my settings dialed in 100% but this plate has still helped.)Perhaps the best recommendation I can give for this product is that I received one from Vine for review and almost immediately purchased another for my other printer. Highly recommended.

I used the standard cool plate profile for the X1C and this thing really sticks. I was printing 4 items at a time that had some supports built in and the supports are still on the plate. You can see the supports as small circles on the plate. In fact I gave up trying to get them off and will have to hunt down a better scraper. I'm hoping not to destroy the plate. The plate feels thicker and heavier than a stock textured and I'm really impressed with the adhesion. Once I have it cleaned off, I'll certainly use it again for projects that have a small contact are that also don't need supports. I’ve sent several prints through this plate and every one has been perfect.PLA and PLA+ stuck and released perfect. PLA silk stuck a little too well to where it tried to rip the bottom layer off the print. So use silk at your own risk.I’ve set the temp to 1, 20, and 25C and each print has stuck well.Set plate to textured.Highly recommended so far.
