This Wybot A1 pool robot is one of the more full featured and versatile units you'll find at the price point. Some features like the dual motor, upgraded edge cleaning and longer run time are features typically found in higher priced units. Even with these upmarket features, the A1 still does one thing --its job is to clean the bottom of your pool and it does it extremely well for the price point. It does have some limitations that are clearly delineated in the product description: for pools up to 1076 square feet with a flat (or close to it) bottom of 15 degrees or less.Within these parameters it does an excellent job. It charges quickly (2.5 hours) and offers a 120 minute battery life. The suction and filtration are excellent. The unit can handle all sorts of different pool dirt and debris and it will pause briefly upon wall impact to give that part of the bottom more intensive cleaning. It has a larger storage (35% more per the product description) than what you'll usually find at this price point.Wybot is a well known and respected name in the pool cleaning business and they offer units up and down the price continuum. I've tried more pool cleaners than I can count and few--if any--offer this combination of value price and solid performance. Highly recommended!

This cleaner did a great job overall in my pool considering I have a pool that it is not really designed to clean. It's designed for a pool with a flat bottom and my pool has a slope with a shallow and deep end. The battery fully charges in about less than 3 hours and runs for up to two hours so it's pretty easy to run multiple times if your pool needs extra attention. The dual filtration is definitely a step up when compared to other cleaners in this price range as well. Although it's not recommended for a pool like mine with a slope, the fact that it actually performed decently is a pretty good indicator that if used in a pool for which it was designed for the performance would be even better!

This is very easy to use and saves me a lot of time that is now much better spend IN the pool. It doesn't replace the need to manual cleaning entirely but significantly reduces it. The battery last almost long enough to get the whole pool, I run it just about every day so what it misses one day, it will hit within a couple days. When I do vacuum by hand, that is cut easily by half with still doing the walls. Being cordless and rechargeable is awesome, I can still leisurely float on a raft while it's running without worry about catching on a cord or hose. It's easy to clean too.

This unit can pick up the debris the problem I had was it would not maneuver around the pool. It would get stuck and not auto correct and just stay in the one spot. Fully charged it did this. I deduce it to the flap device that switches the direction of the unit it cannot distinguish between a small change in floor from a wall so it will not go further if it’s disrupted even slightly. The propulsion is only the vacuum and there are no motors on the wheels this is also a major problem.

J'ai beaucoup d'arbres aux alentours de la piscine et bien des choses tombent dedans. Le petit robot ramasse beaucoup de choses. Je l'aime bien. Par contre, ce que je ne comprends pas,c'est que des fois, il s'arrête au bout de 2-3 minutes et reste en place, ne bouge plus du tout et il est pourtant chargé à bloc.

Automation is at the core of this WYBOT A1 transforming what was once a tedious task of manually cleaning up the pool every season into something easier. Letting it run underwater for about 2 hours on battery seems to make a noticeable difference sweeping up small debris and even some grass blades. Its also intuitively engineered with built in handle for tugging out of the pool to charge and multiple roller wheels to glide across smoothly.Underneath there's essentially a sponge and skimmer filter that vacuums through using water flow absorbing dirt and grime. Suction power feels ample since its powered off an impeller jetting water to move both robot forward and capture debris inside 2 filters but somewhat limited by how long it takes to clean up. This robotic vacuum is also meant for running only when filled up at least 20 inches of water, otherwise it won't start to move even close to the bottom surface.Charging up was straight forward by pulling this robot out of water and simply latching into 2 prong wall plug adapter. Took nearly 3 hours to fully top up but only runs about 1.5 to 2 hours underwater which is decent for covering an entire 10ft above ground pool. Its not meant to skim across top layers but rather jets dirt off tile, concrete or vinyl floors underwater.The robot does go around automatically figuring out a cleaning path and bumping off edges of walls except when it gets stuck. At least I found the robot has slight tendency to stick alongside edges for couple minutes before reversing. Cleaning up the floor is great but since wheels don't climb up steps or walls having to resort to manual scrubbing on sides is still left over.Overall the innovative design and drop in wireless robot takes the hard work of having to manually scrub tile or vinyl surfaced pools. The strong suction using dual impeller motors goes around cleaning up which a more convenient way of maintaining pools. Both setting up and consistently running off battery is simple as dropping into water despite being heavy.
