I ordered this back in January only to find the manufacturers do not recommend using it on a dog in extremely cold temperatures. So, I waited for the weather to warm up a bit where I live in northern Nevada. I have been using it on my excitable 15-pound miniature "poodle doodle" in conjunction with a handheld device which emits an irritating noise only dogs can hear. So far, she seems to be reacting favorably to the collar. The barking has diminished when she gets excited to go for a run up the hill. I did have the trim the excess collar as they seem to allow for enough to fit a giant St. Bernard. I also used clippers to shave her neck fur a little to make sure the prongs were making sufficient contact against her body. I take it off of her in the evening and re-charge the device overnight via a USB cord to a power source. My only recommendation is I wish they had made the "on/off" button more easily visible. It is a tiny black button on the back of the black apparatus which makes it a pain to locate easily. Although I see from the box the collar is also available in white--might be the same issue with white on white. The Chinese manufacturers claim the device is waterproof. They include a small instruction booklet which I found helpful as I have never used a bark collar on any of my dogs before this. So, so far, so good with this no name Bark Training Collar.

This works great for my mini-schnauzer dog. I have it set to 1 for shock and 7 vibrate and he responds immediately and stops barking. Great battery life. Easy to set up and adjust controls. The provided collar strap is nice and long so it will fit many dog sizes. For my small dog I cut to length and burned the edges to keep from fraying.

The collar works as expected. You can adjust the sensitivity, alert level, and shock intensity. The collar itself is extremely long so will fit basically any size dog, just trim off the excess. The only thing I don't really like about it, is that while it technically does fit smaller dogs (mine is a 15lb Toy Fox Terrier), the unit itself is quite big for a small breed. It's light enough, but it's bug enough to be kind of bulky.

We have a smaller corgi and have the bark setting on medium, vibrate on 1 and "shock" on 1 and he responds very well to the collar. I tried the settings on myself and you can't feel anything except for the vibration. To be fair we have trained our dogs with training collars, sounds, vibration collars before. The battery lasts forever which is nice and the display is easy to read. Would recommend!
