Bought this for the woodstove at the cottage over a year ago. The cottage is heated mainly by woodstove during the winter months so a lot of build up. This makes the cleaning job so much easier. Have recommended this method to many others!

Does the trick. I have no problem climbing up the roof but it require more planning and time.With this kit I did the work in about 30 minutes total including making a cardboard door and cleaning up the inevitable trace of soot. I will recommend, for people who don't like working at height this is a must for peace of mind and possibly safety.

I had been looking for this for several years. Was so happy to find it. Works fantastic. No need to set up full extensions of ladder to climb the tower of doom three times a year yarding up 30 feet of fibreglass rods while clinging for dear life to the top of our ancient chimney. Glad I remembered the tip about draping something over fireplace door to keep your living room from blackout on your first Spin with it. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with a sketchy chimney or aging legs which shouldn’t be in high places on ladders. One last note on the quality of creosote removal, very good job.

I was a tad nervous as the rods don't seem as flexible as in the photo. That being said I cleaned 3 stainless insulated chimneys in one weekend, 2 of which have inlets/cleanouts 90 degrees to the chimney. I kept the bends as gentle as possible and had no issues. Was the most impressed with how clean everything came.By the 3rd chimney I had a rod come unlatched. I think cleaning/lubricating the spring latches between uses may have prevented this.The last pro cleaning I had done cost about double what this kit does for one chimney. They showed up with similar equipment and were gone in 20 minutes. So this kit has already paid for itself a few times over.

We bought one of these kits for our 8" stainless triple-wall chimney and were very happy with it. Can honestly say it did a thorough job. We had no issue with pieces releasing or anything else. It does (naturally) make a mess when you are doing it. Between this and a chimney extinguisher, we felt great going into "fireplace season".

Easy to use. Better than a conventional chimney brush. Job is done in half the time. Had one extension rod to break at connector. Amazon was quick to issue a credit for the broken rod. Reason for 4 star rating.

It seemed to clean pretty well. My chimney appears to have been cleaned regularly, since not a lot of large particles came down, but a lot of soot powder came out, all the way to the top of the chimney. So it appears to do pretty well. Thanks for the great product!

Used this to clean my 6”, two story chimney from the bottom before reinstalling our wood stove after some remodeling.Everything worked as expected. All pieces snapped together and came apart nicely. Simple, well thought out tool that does what it is supposed to do.

This product is amazing! We have a 90’ angle in our stove chimney and this was the easiest tool to use for cleaning. We ended up having to put tape where you plug each piece together as they would undo, but other than that, what a lifesaver!

Our chimney was in desperate need to be cleaned out, it was even smelling really bad. Husband and son used this and it worked worked great. Improved the draft up the chimney which improved the stove heating the house. Wish we had used it sooner.
