White Armored Fiber Optic Internet Cable SC/APC to SC/APC Single Mode LSZH-9/125um-Simplex-OS1/OS2
- High Bending Performance: It has excellent low macrobending sensitivity and boasts extremely high resistance to bending loss within the bending radius range of 7.5mm to 15mm. Its minimum bending radius can reach 7.5mm. Compared with the G652 single-mode optical fiber, it has better bending performance and can be laid and installed in smaller spaces.
- Low Water Peak Characteristics: The water peak refers to the phenomenon that the attenuation of optical fiber increases due to the absorption of water molecules at specific wavelengths. G657A2 has a low water peak level and can achieve low attenuation transmission within a wider wavelength range. It can be comprehensively optimized for use in the O-E-S-C-L band (1260nm - 1625nm).
- Good Compatibility: It is fully compatible with all G652 optical fibers and has the same transmission and interconnection characteristics as the G652d optical fiber. It can be mixed with the G652d optical fiber, facilitating upgrades and expansions in existing networks.
- Low Attenuation: It meets the low attenuation requirements for operation within the O-E-S-C-L band. For instance, the attenuation is ≤0.35dB/km at 1310nm and ≤0.21dB/km at 1550nm, etc., enabling long-distance and high-speed data transmission.
- Low Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD): It meets the requirements of high bit rate and long-distance transmission and can effectively reduce signal distortion during transmission, ensuring high-quality signal transmission.
This Fiber Optic Patch Cable simultaneously meets the standards of OS2 and G657A2. When entering narrow spaces such as corners and ducts, it can possess excellent bending performance, and meanwhile, it can ensure low attenuation during long-distance transmission .
Application Scenarios
- FTTH Network: Thanks to its good bending performance and low attenuation characteristics, it is especially suitable for use in the Fiber-to-the-Home network. It can be conveniently laid from indoor optical connection points or the bottom of buildings to optical terminal sockets, meeting users' needs for high-speed broadband access.

Precautions:
This Fiber Optic Patch Cable is recommended to be used indoors. The typical service life of optical fibers with LSZH sheaths is around 20 years. However, if they are exposed to high temperatures, high humidity, intense ultraviolet radiation, or areas with chemical corrosive substances for an extended period, their service life will be significantly shortened, potentially ranging from 5 to 10 years.

This optical cable was very easy to install and has held up well for the short time I've been using it. It functions very well delivering high speed and is price less than other armored optical cables. So far no complaints, and highly recommended.

Excellent quality SC/APC cable with good flexibility and protection. Judging from the heft of it I can only assume it is armored as claimed. I've run this outside under the exterior siding of my house, time will tell how long it holds up but it seems to be precisely as advertised. Good throughput, no complaints.

My fiber was installed in my home before me in a sub-optimal location initially. This extension is working flawlessly to extend my Frontier fiber line to my new router location. I've been using this cable for over a month and haven't noticed any drops or issues with connectivity quality.

It was the appropriate cable type for what we needed, but the fitting (adapter) on the end was not made for a standard audio jack, so it just couldn't be used for what the hubby was trying to fix. The cable quality is good; it's just that end piece that caused us the problem.

This fiber optic cable is a good quality cable and is working well. I'm using it to extend an AT&T Internet service to another room. The service came up with full speed immediately after connecting it. The connector snaps in well. The cable feels durable for fiber. The connector works well and brought together the existing AT&T cable with this new cable to extend the reach. It was easy to use and easy to work with. Both the cable and the connector were a perfect fit. The speed test for download/upload have remained consistent since the cable was added with no lose or issues.

I got this pre-terminated SC/ACP fiber optic patch cable to relocate our ONT after a recent fiber install. It seems to be a good value. Construction looks durable. It came safely coiled in a plastic bag and included dust covers over both ends. It also included some alcohol wipes and an SC/ACP coupler with dust caps. The coupler is a nice touch because you can use it to extend a pre-existing fiber cable if need be. For my purposes I'm using this as a longer interior cable so I'm not using the coupler at the moment. It is definitely nice to have one ready when you need it.Armored cable like this is more durable than a typical unarmored cable and not much thicker.I haven't noticed any problems but I'll update this review if I do. I'll eventually be relocating the ONT again to an upstairs office. I'll definitely consider this brand when I upgrade to an even longer cable. So far I'm pleasantly surprised. It serves its purpose!
