Using this for a diy midi drum kit, and they work quite well! Obviously these are still piezo sensors, so a 1M resistor is reccomended.

Obviously, one would order these to amplify an otherwise acoustic instrument. I plan to use them for that very purpose. Whether that be a kalimba or something stringed, these should do the trick. I can't yet vouch for how well they work exactly as I have yet to use them. But the correct amount was delivered, and they look much like others I've used in the past. I intend to use some of these for noise boxes to amplify various sounds (plucked strings, rubber bands, chains) and running them through effects. Only then will I be able to comment on sound quality, at which time I'll report back with results. In the meantime, between the fact that the quantity was accurate and that they appear to be of similar quality to others I'm familiar with, I can still give a confident recommendation.
