I thought it would be a quick solution to making them gather around below my calf in the spring, but still be able to wear them in the winter as longer sweats. Well…Since I read the description somewhat fast, instead of actually reading the specs, I ordered them strictly off looking at the pictures. I know better than that - my bad, because they measure 7.5 inches long and that is way too small. My lower calves are 12 inches, so these would not work for blousing my sweatpants; heck, even my ankle is 9 inches round. Therefore, even with the elastic, when stretched around my lower leg, it feels like it’s going to cut off the circulation.For reference: I am a 5’3", 135 lb woman, wear a size 6 jeans, and I do have stocky legs. Women's calf muscles are lower on the leg than men, so keep that in mind ladies! Now, for my arms or wrists, these bands would be great.
