Totally worthless. You can unlock them without the key. Big disappointment.

These don't work at all. For starters, you can't use them on any cable where the boot has a bubble, flange, or anything else covering the release tab. For those types of boots it usually doesn't fit over them, and when it does it just leaves the release tab completely depressed.For the cables that this does fit on, it doesn't even lock them. The terminator snaps into the port like it's supposed to, but the "locks" are such cheap plastic that they don't spring back into place and keep you from being able to push the release tab. I can press down and release the cable without the key at all.Completely useless.

These locks work... possibly a little too good.I've tried them on Cisco, MikroTik, Ciena switches, and a couple different keystones. I tried the "key" included with the kit, and it failed to unlock 100% of time. I ended up using diagonal cutters to cut the lock in half. These have no place in my homelab or office.If you need to lock down ports these things will be awesome. I wouldn't use them somewhere hard to reach, and I'd keep some 4" diagonal flush cut cutters on hand as the master unlock key.
