They work but when tightened they catch an stick before any tightening pressures are started. I tightened one up at counter top and discovered many small pieces of metal, the slots where screws turn became became puckered and the edges sharp. As stated usable but not what I would recommend. Partially stainlexpected not appear to be 100% stainless as expected.

we bought these to mend hoses. we wanted something flexible, yet strong so that we would not have to keep replacing them when we needed to make an adjustment on the hose.The screw adjustment turns well and does not feel cheaply made.

They will not hold 60 psi. Tightening them cause them to strip out. They did not work. These are not the standard quality expected from local hardware stores. They are thin and lightweight.

These bind up severely when attempting to close. The force required to move the adjusting screw is way beyond anything a screw driver can handle with that dinky phillips-head worm screw. And just as finishing touch, the corners on the hex nut are rounded. These are junk and should not be on Amazon.
