My daughter loves using it and getting to pick a different slide every night. The images are clearly noticeable on the walls, but it's not too bright either. We used to have one that projected just a circular picture on the ceiling, but this design is much nicer and cooler. Recommended.

I picked up this projector because I needed a night light for my daughter and gave her the option to pick one out. She saw the whale in the advertised picture and was sold. This projector does have about 21 different options to choose from, some of which are for holidays. My daughter likes to have the slides changed out multiple times a week and she likes the projections. I don’t think anyone is necessarily surprised that the advertised photos are way overly exaggerated from what you actually experience. It’s not a bad show but you do need to set the expectations.The bigger issue I have with this projector is that it is advertised as a night light. There are brightness levels that you can adjust BUT these levels only apply when you are using the single color LED bulbs. By default the light will fade in and out of the 3 colors of LED and it is _bright_. The fade out from one color to the next is too quick. I feel like it probably only stays on a single color for 2 seconds before changing to the next. My wife asked if I could slow the thing down but unfortunately that isn’t an option. My daughter could not fall asleep with the default fade in/out setting. I needed to switch to the solid yellow LED and turn down the brightness for the lowest (of three settings) to even make it somewhat on par with my expectations for night light brightness.I would not buy this for use as a night light (in a room someone is going to sleep in).

This lovely projector works very well. It is easy to change out the scenes in it. I was confused by it not charging...I had it plugged in and thought it was charging, but finally realized this isn't rechargeable and that you have to have it plugged in to work. I don't understand why when something isn't rechargeable, why not just stick a plug on it instead of sending a cable that someone now needs to buy a block for, to plug it in? All that said, I do recommend this projector as the light-show is very lovely and the scenes spread wide across the room.
