If you are in an area that doesn't freeze or you will store water where it won't, then youvarw probably good. I tested these for long-term storage and had some in my garage. They froze. Upon thawing, they flooded the garage floor as they seemed to all split around the spout. I suspect lifting them frozen would tear them as well.The ones in my house basement that did not freeze did OK, but I am worried about their strength and stability in the long term.

Bought for emergency storage of water. Had a freeze and stored water. But when using it. Extremely unstable. Flooded my bathroom with 2 gallons of water.Ugh!!!

These bags are the perfect way to add some extra storage options for water without taking up a large amount of space. I already have a couple of portable water containers but they take up a lot of space. These bags are nice and small when folded up so I can keep them packed away and fill them when needed. When filled they stand up easily with the spout facing down. The spout has a cover and you have to pull off a piece of the blue plastic that acts as a seal to get the water to flow. Don’t remove all the blue plastic since the rest of it doubles as the button for letting water out. There is also a seal on the water lid so once you fill the bag you can close it and the seal would indicate if the bag was used. Personally I want to use each bag more than once so I don't need the seals but I can see why some people would want them.The bags are sturdy and with the handle they are easy to carry. I didn't feel like they were straining when full so I had plenty of confidence that they weren't going to rip open and dump the water onto the floor as I moved them.I like these bags. They are a great addition to my camping kit and to my household emergency kit.
