Used this with my shop vac to ensure the fine particulate is expelled outside and not into my lungs. Works well, strong, no complaints.

This s excellent quality flexible hose, with strong wire, thick & clear plastic flexible plastic. One thing though... the twist is opposite that used by DustRight (bought at Rockler) 2.5" Keyed Bridge Hose Clamps. These are clamps that jump over the twisted wire in one spot so you don't have to clamp across a wire like you do with normal hose clamps. Just an FYI. I don't know if the Rockler hoses & clamps are standard twist or this hose is standard... but the two are opposite twists.

I wouldn't mind if the PVC was a little thicker, but then it probably would have cost twice as much. Although I didn't really use it much yet, I would think it will work out better if it's not allowed to have much if any slack in the line. It seems to me that the more it's able to move around the quicker it might wear out, and it moves around a lot if it's able. It will also pinch your hand almost instantly if it's not stretched tight while your holding it and you turn on the vacuum. Other than that, it easily fits over 2 inch PVC and I'm thinking it will work out fine. But again, it bends easily and needs supported, especially on lateral runs. It's clear and easy to see through. Again, I didn't use it much yet so I can't really say how it holds up. I would think saw dust and other softer materials would be fine to run through it but I wouldn't run bits of glass or sharp metal particles through it unless I wanted holes in it. I probably won't try it just to see what happens.

Good quality product, I purchased it for my dust collection system, works well, I would recommend to a friend, if i run out i will buy again.

This works well with my dust collector and the long length allows me to cut it to the correct length for each machine.
