Works fine. Its fragility led me to return and replace the first one that got damaged in transit. But the competition may be the same. Bought it to get the ignitor working again and it has done that!

Which is what it's supposed to do. I had been using an extended butane lighter on my kero heater for a few years, finally bought this expensive little heater element over last winter and it work great. Apparently the nature haters who still live in California who can't buy parts at stores anymore have been buying them up to backstock for their pollution belching kero heaters and increasing the prices for everyone else... well, that's just a guess anyways.

I have not yet installed this as the old ignitor is still working, and I just bought this to have on hand as a spare. It does appear to be a quality replacement.
