Learned the hard way that the temperature scale on the selection knob is in Celsius not Fahrenheit. It’s high temperature is 325 C which is around 500F. The solid cooking surface spreads the heat fairly evenly but not perfectly. Because of the mass of the cooking surface, it does take some time to reach temperature. Solid built, it is heavy but sturdy. One issue I have is that the rubber feet don’t screw down tight and have some lateral movement because of that. The grease collection is excellent. I found it necessary to use a pumice stone to clean the surface and that worked without marring the surface

I have wine under a hood inside. Heats up a little slow for me. I think it would be better for an outside station little bit rough to clean too.It does cook well if you’re not in a hurry.

It’s not worth the money you pay for it. Especially if you don’t keep it.
