OK so let me start by saying that shipping was quick and it perfectly fit my 2000 toyota tundra 4.7l v8. That being said, the whole reason I bought this was because I had a p1121 error code that was an accelerator pedal position sensor. 2007 and up trucks have this sensor on the back of the accelerator pedal itself. On my year truck, this is the part. Now here's the deal, and I wasn't aware of this... while this part is very easy to change out yourself, you have to UNPLUG THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE AFTER YOU INSTALL IT FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE IT WILL WORK! This is VERY IMPORTANT to know because it didn't work immediately and a forum online said to turn the key to the on position and push the gas pedal down all the way 3x and turn the truck off, start the truck and do it again, turn the truck off and when you turn it back on, it should work. Not only did it NOT work, but it caused me to blow my rear main seal. I didn't know this until I took it for a test drive once the accelerator pedal was responding like it should again (only after I disconnected the battery cable) and as I was driving away, oil was DUMPING out of the main seal. So do yourself a favor and disconnect the battery after you install the part, do NOT push the pedal all the way down while it's not working as it will build up pressure and blow the seal. So yes, the part works, was very easy to change, but use caution and make sure you follow these directions. Replace part, disconnect negative battery for 5 minutes, reattach battery, then try the accelerator gently. If it doesn't respond normally lightly touching the pedal, it's not going to work flooring it. Good luck!
