This works great both as a training aid, Especially with electronic targets, as well as used as a snap cap. Accuracy is consistent, easy to get sighted in and practicing. Great Value, highly recommended.

I recently got this laser training bullet. I thought it came with a target, but it doesn't. You have to purchase the target separately. I don't have one, so I couldn't test how well it works with the target. I did try it out, though. The batteries go in with the positive side facing the firing pin. When the tail of the bullet is pressed, the laser shines for a split second. While loaded and shooting it, the laser flashes so fast that you will miss it 80% of the time. They provide three sets of batteries, a spare tail cap, and a few extra o-rings. It all comes in a nice little tin. This is a very cool little set up.

Mixed opinions here. Pro: three sets of batteries, an extra rear assembly (the switch that serves as the snap cap and absorbs the physical impact of the firing pin), two extra sets of o-rings (that can wear out with repeated chambering), all packed in a handy, compact tin with foam inserts. Fantastic. A+Cons: the tin received was bent/compressed shut and had to be pried opened, destroying the tin. The laser output through a 16" barrel is too dim to consistently register with a smartphone based training app. You can still see the dot for non-logged training, may even work with electronic targets (can't confirm), but it may not work with your training app of choice.

Wish I could find one that works. laser cannot handle being hit by the firing pin in a ar-15. Each cap only lasts about 5 shots then starts malfunctioning
