Very soft 'lead', flimsy even. I've got some with the same dimensions from a glass store and it is stiffer. I'm really not sure this is pure lead, I doubt it.

Easy to work with this U came for stained glass projects. The tool helps in getting a good stretch and a tight fit. I am new to stained glass, less than 6 months. I have only pocketed came 2 times. I did find that this is easier and a bit more pliable to get into position.
