Did not come with sheet metal screws as pictured. I am using these D rings on a metal trailer hitch carrier for bungee cords. I will buy them rather then send it back. Brackets and D rings are thick and heavy duty. D ring joint smooth and tight. No gaps. The wood screws feel cheap. I would not use them because the bracket holes aren't countersunk and you will not get a tight fit. IMO,aesthetically a flat head screw in a non-countersunk hole looks bad. See picture.

Used all of these in a large box trailer where stuff would otherwise shift around. Easily installed and certainly strong.

These D rings worked well for my project because of their rating and their size. I needed something that wasn’t too big to fit in the location where I was going to mount them. I was specifically using them to secure or help secure a SxS in my toy hauler. The total binding strength of all the D-rings I used will be sufficient to safely secure and transport my SxS.

I'm in the process of converting a 48-foot race-car hauler and 24-foot cargo trailer into a pair of mobile labs, and it's often necessary to just make tie points for random objects strapped or bungeed in various directions besides the standard E-track in the walls. This pack of tie-downs is at the sweet spot for pretty much any interior fixture, and is in a bin next to self-drilling screws and E-track goodies. (I wouldn't tie a bulldozer to a flatbed with them, but furniture and tools are all fair game.)They aren't recessed, so I don't put them in the traffic pattern, but anywhere on wall studs or 3/4" plywood floor is fine. I particularly like them for those loose things that would turn into a mess if not tied down before hauling. As of mid-2024, they are roughly a buck apiece... and worth getting.Later note: as is often the case with things like this, the provided flat-head screws are pretty low-quality metal... easy for the Phillips heads to strip. But that is the wrong kind of screw anyway - use some decent pan-heads, and it will be fine. I just put one up on an antenna pole to provide a guying support.

Product seems fine. But I was shorted for the quantity I had ordered. They were 1 short in the pack I received. I did have the screws, I had the bracket, but short a Dring for my tie down anchor.
