These grippers work great for the floor, but not the rug. They DO keep the rug from slipping, but if the rug is washable and you remove the grippers, they take part of the rug, too. Easy to remove from flooring, but not from rug

What's worse they are difficult to remove from wood flooring. Haven't found a single use for them yet. The yellow rug tape is the only product that I've found to work.

These rug holders are doing their job, holding my rugs in place without having to use so many to do that; I put two at each end and they've stayed in place. They're easy to apply & don't believe they will have harmed my new laminate flooring which was quite expensive.

What I liked most was the easy installation and the adhesion of the gripper pads to the rugs and the hardwood floors. I misplaced the bag with remaining pads, but found one left on a table. So, I used that one gripper pad and placed it underneath the middle edge of a rug. It has held that rug in place so far. Because I dislike looking for things I misplace, I just ordered the item again. Haven't had to remove any so far, so I cannot say how that works. Would definitely recommend this item.

I was most concerned about residue on my hardwood floors - not a problem! It sticks really well to the floor - simple but not easy to pull up, but when pulled up (just lift a corner and pull firmly) there is absolutely no indication that it ever was there! I even re-used it, and it stuck just as well the second time. It didn't stick as well as I'd like to the carpet, but that was my fault - I should have cleaned the very fuzzy bottom of the carpet where I attached it. Plenty of strips in the package, and works better than anything else I've tried.

I used these Rug Grippers to hold two carpets down on wooden flooring. One is a long skinny carpet. The other is a large rectangle carpet. Before using Rug Gripper, these carpets would move all over the place easily by just us walking on them. After putting the Rug Grippers in place they did not move at all and were were able to detach the carpet from the floor, move them and restick them to the floor again. They did not leave any residue on the floor when we moved them to put them in a different place. Also, after resticking to the floor they have not moved. I was very impressed with this because we do not just have people walking on them we have 3 dogs Running back and forth on them. One of those dogs is a husky/lab mix puppy, so it is a larger breed dog. She is about 35lbs and very active.

I’ve tried three different rug grippers from Amazon and have concluded that this is by far the best as the other two were unusable. The other rug grippers either left residue that was extremely difficult to get rid of after lifting them up or were too weak too keep my rugs in place. The others were both impossible to clean despite their claims that all you had to do was wash them in tap water. This product does not leave residue on my hardwood floors and keeps my rugs in place. I’ve yet to have the need to clean them since they stay in place so well, but I’ll provide an update when I do that, but regardless these are easily the best and well worth the investment if you need to keep your rugs in place. This was also an excellent value. They gave me a lot of rug grippers, whereas the competitors were not nearly as generous.
