Cold water and the ice packs made very little difference. Works fine as a fan and air filter but won’t cool any room larger than a hallway bathroom.

The fan function is nice but when I tried to use the evaporative cooler portion of the fan, it became disappointing quickly. A lot of the water I added to the tank ended up leaking all over my floor. I ran the fan in the evaporative cooler for an hour but by then all of the water in tank had either leaked all over my floor or been used in the process. Definitely recommend to stay away from this brand.

This product is not the least bit quiet like it advertises. They send a card which says they will help with customer support but let me tell you they never call you back, they never reply to email and this process has been dragged out for over a month. This company has the worst customer support I have ever seen. Finally I reached out to Amazon directly who handled my situation. I would not recommend this company, their products don't hold what they say and they will string you along.
