Ease of installation was not optimal. The connectors plug did not not fit . In the interest of time I used the old plug connector and spliced/crimped to new motor wires and reinstalled. This took an extra hour of time, but in the interest of not buying more ice and waiting on a Panasonic replacement at 4xs the cost. In the end the motor worked (thumbs up) and fridge is back to normal temps in about 12 hours and freezer was back to normal inside two hours. 5 stars for the fan motor itself 2 stars for ease of installation... 3 star is reasonable (not great, yet not awful) If you are handy with tools. and have a little extra time.. which can be economical option. An experience I did not anticipate.

This was over $100 cheaper than buying one from the manufacturer and it worked perfectly to fix our fridge overnight. It was very easy to install and has almost no noise. Our fridge went from 62 degrees to 33 in under 6 hours.

This fan replacement solved an intermittent SY EF error. This fridge has been running without issue for a few weeks now, with the new fan. This side-by-side Frigidaire uses this one fan to blow cold air from the freezer side into the refrigerator side. When the fan fails, the controller throws a SY EF error on the control panel LEDs. Also, the evaporator coils in the freezer clog up with ice. My fridge also had an intermittent Defrost Thermostat.

Wasn’t even for my fridge but couldn’t find the right part for my $15000 dodge. The appliance guy that came to look at it said to throw the fridge away because nobody makes the fan motor anymore! The plug looked the same as my old fan motor so I bought and ordered it. Under a $50. For a $15000 fridge. It came in, I plugged it in, it’s WORKS!!!

I purchased this evaporator fan motor from DRELD to replace the failed one in my Electrolux refrigerator. At first glance it looked identical to the old one, and it was listed as a suitable replacement. However, upon trying to install it, I was unable to get the electrical connector to lock in place no matter how hard I pushed. I decided to splice the old connector, which worked fine, onto the 'new' motor. That is when I noticed that the color coding on the wires coming out of the 'new' fan did not match the OEM connector and, of course, the old fan. I tried connecting anyway, according to wire position rather than color, and not surprisingly, the fan failed to work. I gave up on the DRELD fan and ordered another replacement fan from PartsBroz. This fan had the same problem with the electrical connector not locking properly, but at least the wires coming out of the fan correctly match the OEM electrical plug with respect to color coding. When spliced and installed, this PartsBroz fan finally worked OK. I should note that the color coding of the wire coming out of the fan that I got from DRELD did not even match the color coding of the fan displayed on their Amazon ad page. Buyer beware! I wonder if DRELD will issue me a refund if I splice their bad connector to their bad fan and send the darn thing back to them.P.S. To their credit, when DRELD read this review, they immediately issued me an Amazon refund without asking for the item to be returned. For this reason, I am changing my rating from one star to four stars to reflect my satisfaction with their customer service and response.

Fan working great. Refrigerator temperature was not at proper temperature due to original fan working intermittently. Since replacement it has worked great.
