Better than the original that comes with a Chinese diesel heater. A bit quieter, must be installed outside as it leaks like a sieve! Not necessary a bad thing but if you mount it internally you must take it apart and seal the joints with high temperature silicone. I’m not recommending this but if you must….

Great product. My heater is whisper quite with this on. Only thing i can hear when its on is the fuel pump.

Was ok, pricy but everything is priced higher today. compared to the oem it is better manufactured. And it did reduce noise without affecting performance.

Bought this to replace original muffler that my diesel heater came with the original muffler isn't sealed up very good. I use my diesel heater for my roof top tent. As we all know the air intake and the exhaust are kinda close to each other. This muffler is sealed up much better than what the heater comes with so you can direct more of the exhaust away from the air intake. If you are looking for less noise this runs around 65 to 66 dB vs original runs at 69 to 70 dB. It works good for my needs

If you want a silent diesel heater this is definitely what you're looking for. Literally can't even hear the air moving out of it. The only thing you hear is the ticking from the fuel pump. Which I've realized to get that to be completely quiet, all you have to do is put a bunch of zip ties around it unsuspend in the air. Seems like if it ever touches a piece of metal or something that you want to screw it into it amplifies the tick noise.Stop reading and buy this muffler already.
