Very cute Kentucky derby earrings. Perfect for equestrian lovers like me. They might be considered sort of heavy though for some, something to keep in mind! The weight doesn't really bother me though. They're reasonably priced for what you get.

These earrings are a lot of fun and you'll get lots of comments when you wear them to the racetrack or a Derby Party. They're not small, so they are good for that person that appreciates large dangling earrings.

I ordered this 2/4Pairs Kentucky Derby Earrings for Women Horseshoe Earrings Derby Hat Horse Riding Suit Earrings set of two pairs of racing themed earrings because I thought they could be fun to wear on Derby Day.I received two pairs of earrings, nicely packaged in a pale pink, patterned box suitable for gifting. The box was textured, with a repeating design of short horizontal and vertical lines. The box was tasteful and attractive, and I love that there was no visible logo. I’m not a huge fan of logos, and I’ve seen many nice jewelry boxes that are less aesthetically attractive because of a large logo sticker that tore the box if you tried to remove it. This box was simple and attractive, very nice.Inside, there were two pairs of earrings and the bonus of an additional pair of the round, flat earring backs. Having the extra, third pair of earring backers is great; those little discs can get lost easily. I also like that the seller included this type of earring backs; they help balance the earring weight better than the smaller, bullet shaped ones. These earrings aren’t super heavy, but I like the broader backs.These earrings aren’t made from zinc. One pair is mostly crystals, the other is enameled metal. The crystal pair are in the shape of blue roses; each earring is a rose with the word DERBY dangling from a short, gold toned chain. The earrings are about 2 3/4” long and about 1/2” wide. It is spelled out in blue and silvery white crystals. These earrings came swaddled in bubble wrap for protection.The second pair of earrings are enameled metal. They are red roses; dangling from each rose on a short gold toned chain is a horse and jockey. The horses are enameled brown. The jockey’s silks are pale blue and white, they have black boots.These are fun faux earrings; I love the Kentucky Derby theme and the inclusion of the famous roses. Perfect for those who love the ponies and those who love playing the ponies alike.

I'm from Louisville, Kentucky, and that means the first Saturday in May is Derby Day! We throw an annual party to watch the horses "run for the roses" and I encourage people to break out their hats and bowties. When I saw these cute little earrings, I thought they would make a unique addition to my own ensemble.
