Important Tips
- If the no-load voltage meassuring, it will be getting almost 2.5v over max voltage 26.5v, that is normal, it is no problem since it is no-load.

I purchased this to hook up to a 24vac thermostat to test for power on. Easy to hook up as you are only hooking up 2 wires to the rc and c connection of the thermostat. Transformer has only been used for a brief time but no issues so far.

Fit the spec that the irrigation controller required. Actual voltage was 27VAC even under some load. I didn't measure the voltage with full load. Seems well made. Decent price compared to other sites.

Screw terminals are not labeled, so I had no idea which terminals to attach power wires to and the ground wire to. Asked ChatGPT and was told usually the center screw terminal is the ground. Finally got it to work after several attempts. Thank you ChatGPT

Quite simple to set up.Works well.The mist difficult part is discreetly running the wire from the plug in transfomer to the doorbell or any compatible devices. Good price.

Using this to power a Nest doorbell for a building we're renovating. We didn't want to use a wireless doorbell as the battery changes get to be a pain. Wiring is simple - there are only 3 wires to connect.Since we were adding new wiring to our utility room anyway, we added a 120v outlet just for this transformer, and got a bonus open outlet. 40VA is plenty of juice for doorbells and should work with just about any smart (or dumb) doorbell systems.It's relatively compact for a transformer, though this isn't really much of an issue as this is one of those products you don't expect visitors to see.
