Easy installation

1.Cut off the power of circuit breaker.
2.Install the wire from your 24 volt adapter to the “C” terminal and the other wire to the “RC” terminal. You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.
3.Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker. Install the panel on the thermostat.

I love this. No more needing to charge the Ring 2 battery every few days. Just be sure to charge your Ring first. We hooked this up when the battery was at 1%. It would get it up to 4% but as soon as the outdoor temperature down near 0 degrees F the Ring wouldn’t consistently record videos.Charged it and we are at 100% on day two. This really solved our issues with the extreme cold weather.

Recharging the battery has been a pain, especially when we are gone for long periods of time. This is a cheap and easy fix for that. The first day the battery was going down from 100% to 91% and I thought I might need to send it back. But then I read another review that said the charger will only start charging when the battery goes down to 90%. I have checked it every day and it does go down to 90% then back up again. The charger came in a box with NO instructions, it would have been helpful to know that you don't have to attach the wires in any special way AND that the battery will go down to 90% before charging back up. Otherwise, it is a great product at a great price.

I ordered this to pair with a Ring doorbellThis fits perfectly to the ring doorbell and the connectors are made so you don’t have to curl any wires to fit around a screw or worry about it becoming disconnected over time. The ring doorbell immediately registered that it had been plugged in and that it was trickle charging.The cord is EXTREMELY long which is good if you need to route this from somewhere to your device. I had intended to plug this into a junction box in my attic and then run the wire down the exterior wall and out through a small hole I drilled behind the wall mount. In the end I opted not to use this one as the plug in point became Very warm bordering on hot to the touch and I’m just not comfortable leaving this in the attic out of sight with the rear that it could catch fire maybe. Now, if I was able to plug it into a wall outlet and route the cord through a hole in the wall, then I would have no hesitation to use this. For my application, it just did not have a good area to set this up where I could keep an eye on it easily.Overall seems to be decent transformer, but it is not really priced much better than the Ring branded wall plug in charger that would serve the same purpose. For this reason I can only give this 3 stars. If it was priced a little better, than I would give it 4 stars.

Need an adapter for our second houses ring doorbell which kept dying while we are away. We do not have power ran to the outside for a normal doorbell connection so were having trouble finding a solution. We were able to run the line (very long) down the door and under the house where we then drilled a hole in the floor right next to an electrical outlet. We are now less stressed and can check on our property with ease.
