12x24, 24x36 inch Plexiglass Sheet for Clear Acrylic Lucite Plexiglass END SLIDE TABLE
Creating a U-shaped clear acrylic end slide table by bending the acrylic sheet involves a different set of steps than cutting and bending. Here are the instructions for creating a bent acrylic end slide table:
Materials:
- 1/4 inch thick clear acrylic sheet, Heat gun, Gloves, Ruler and marker, Sandpaper
Instructions:
- Measure and mark the dimensions of the U-shape you want on the acrylic sheet using a ruler and marker.
- Cut the acrylic sheet to size using a saw or laser cutter.
- Put on protective gloves to avoid burns from the heat gun.
- Hold the heat gun about 6 inches away from the acrylic sheet and start heating the area where you want the bend. Move the heat gun back and forth slowly until the acrylic becomes pliable.
- Once the acrylic has softened, carefully bend it to the desired angle using a straight edge as a guide. Hold the acrylic in place until it cools and hardens.
- Repeat steps 4-5 for the other side of the U-shape. Sand the edges of the acrylic sheet to smooth them out.

I use this product to protect my new end tables. I wish they would have them with the curve corners. It's a little difficult to remove the protective sheets, otherwise I like them.

I got the 12x24 and it was perfect for my wedding sign. I was able to use my cricut and cut out my design and used oil based paint for the back coloring. It was the perfect size and sturdy. It was a good thickness so it didn’t blow in the wind

The quality and price this acrylic piece is great. I DIY’d a dry erase wall calendar which was $125 in store using outdoor vinyl and spray paint and I got to customize it to exactly what I needed. Size options were an added bonus and it shipped quickly in sturdy cardboard without drama. I have already ordered another one.
