My kids have received many school awards, and these are the perfect way to display them without the worry of them getting ripped. While not exactly as expected, they work out and lessen the risk of the kid's paper awards ripping. Plus they make them look nicer in the wall. Sliding the certificates in the little slot holes is tedious, but not too bad. I thought this document holder came with a transparent covering, and you slipped the document in, but there was no film covering. These are just lovely holders to place your paper certificates in to lessen the possible risk of ripping.

We use these for certificate completions at work and homeschool programs, and they never disappoint. Simple, sharp design with a gold-foil border that elevates the presentation. They’re easy to stack, lightweight, and durable enough to protect certificates in transit. I wouldn't buy this for something memorable like a college degree or marriage certificate, but it's a great low-cost solution.

As a middle school band director I have opportunities to distribute certificate awards every spring. This holders will be a very nice addition to our presentations. While many teachers simply hand out a certificate, I find that the students tend to need a little encouragement to take care of them. I know a few will be willing to keep them as a reminder of their accomplishments, I would really like everyone to try to at least get them home to family in good condition. Then, if they really aren't interested, I suppose they will do with them as they want. These holders are a way to make the awards classy and help protect the paper, and encourage students to take better care of them, and they won't cost too much to present. The paper is a thicker, cardboard type, and they arrived in great condition. They currently cost about fifty cents per sheet, and that is a reasonable price. I would recommend these and am likely to repurchase in the future.

Review for Single Sided Certificate Holders from Apprabbr Store: I got the pack of 25... these are black with a decorative "foil" design near the edge. It is not embossed into the paper like some others I've seen, but did not scrape off with my fingernail... so should be ok. The foil design is well done on each one. These are not super heavy.... but heavier than cardstock or construction paper, for sure. The corners are clean cut... the slits to insert your paper into is best loosened from the back. They could be cut just a TAD wider to be perfect... as the papers want to bubble in the middle because you can't get the corners inserted fully out. I would not agree with their claim "guard important papers for years to come"... They will not do that. Obviously the more you buy at a time the less they cost each and become a better deal. Part of a star loss for the tight slits.. and the rest for claims that won't hold up. Okay product for presentations of certificates...
