I am usually more careful than this, but I got hoodwinked by the picture. Many wicks in the picture, a paltry 25 in the order. Nowhere in the description does the seller state the quantity. The product title is the only clue: Mybrand 25 ECO. Virtually every other listing for ECO wicks was selling 100 for the same price, which contributed to my mistake. $0.32 per wick is crazy expensive- they can be had for $0.10 all over the place.

The wicks are over crimped to the metal tab, to the point it has crushed and cut the wick. This will cause the wick to tip over once the wax liquefies to the bottom in a votive or container candle.
