Thangles gets rid of the awful 7/8" math that is normally required for making half square triangles. Instead, Thangles works with straight grain strips that are 1/2" wider than the finished size. This also means you can cut other matching elements like squares from the same strips; you save time and fabric. There is no waste!

On April 27, 2021 I ordered 2 packs of "THANGLES." They were delivered safely & in great condition to me on May 3, 2021! I am piecing a memory quilt for a cousin using some of her aunt's dresses. I realized I was not going to have enough of the THANGLES to finish my piecing & I didn't have time to drive to quilt shops in other counties. SO...I turned to AMAZON! Found exactly what I needed from MILL HOUSE QUILTS. These paper templates allow quilters to easily & quickly make half-square triangles from strips. Best thing since "sliced bread" for quilters making half-square triangles for quilts! They also come in various sizes.

I am using this to make a multicolored quilt of half-square triangles. it is a good tool, but sometimes the paper makes the unit slip and it can be counterproductive.
