Painting Steps:
1. Make sure the surface you want to paint is clean, flat and dry;
2. Use temporary adhesive or tape to fix the stencil on the surface you want to paint;
3. Apply with pigment by using paintbrush, sponge or other painting tools evenly and slowly, until clearly;
4. Remove the stencil slowly and carefully from one corner by pulling it up.

The stencils are good quality for a reasonable price. Kids used the stencils for arts and crafts; the stencils are the perfect size and were easy for them to handle. I recommend others to purchase.

hard to use as the space gets too small for pencil or any pointed pen or paint brush.

I am painting rocks for a community project and have used these small stencils to create some nice rocks to donate for the project. The stencils are plastic and flexible, so they are easy to wrap around the rocks surface to trace. Once I trace the stencil onto the rock with a dark permanent marker, I paint the stenciled image using acrylic paints. I have found these stencils very easy to work with and have had no issues at all. The size is perfect for my project and the stencils are good quality.

I really like this set of inspirational saying stencils! There is a nice assortment of sayings that are great to use when journaling, scrapbooking or card making. Keep in mind that the size of these stencils is small (2 1/2 inches each), so I think they work best for smaller arts and crafts projects. I haven't yet tried them out on any surface besides paper, but I'm sure they would work well on other surfaces as well, as long as you have the write drawing or coloring tools.The stencils themselves are easy to use and easy to clean up. I just need to find a place to store them (a permanent storage solution was not included with the product) so I don't lose them!

Maybe on paper these would have worked but for the rocks I bought them for they were not good. the little parts were flimsy and would not stay.
