Excellent quality. Sturdy. But I can't find a humidity dome with these exact dimensions.

I ordered the 20 Cell Seedling Trays to get a jump start on my garden this year. I found these trays to be an excellent choice for anyone looking to get a jump on their seed starting and transplanting process. Each cell in the trays is the same size as a standard 2.5-inch square pot, with a depth of 3.5 inches, which is great for seeds that require a longer germination period. The large holes at the bottom of each cell make it incredibly easy to transplant plants without damaging their roots. The trays themselves are designed with a higher depth, which is perfect for bottom watering, making sure that the soil stays evenly moist without the risk of overwatering. The set includes 5 deep plug trays and 5 flat nursery trays, each plug tray accommodating 20 cells (4x5), which will save time when moving seedlings from indoor to outdoor environments. The plug trays measure 15 inches by 11 inches by 3.2 inches and weigh 5 ounces, while the flat trays are slightly larger at 15 inches by 11 inches by 2.6 inches and weigh 6.3 ounces. Together, one set (one plug tray and one flat tray) weighs 11.3 ounces, making them lightweight and easy to handle. One of the things I like about these trays is the bottom design. I like that the plug trays have a slender drainage hole that allows excess water to drain quickly, allowing for healthy root growth and also preventing waterlogging. The flat trays have no drainage holes, allowing you the flexibility to either store water or drain it as needed to avoid root rot. The cells in the plug trays are spaced 1.2 inches apart, which promotes soil aeration and prevents root entanglement, giving each plant its own space to grow independently.Overall, these seedling trays are a great solution for gardeners, offering a design that supports healthy plant growth from the very beginning.

The first thing that you notice when you get your hands on these is just hot sturdy they feel. These feel more like a child's beach toy than the usual seed trays I've purchased. The drainage holes are also nice and large, and the drip trays can hold plenty of water. You'll definitely get multiple uses out of these. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks. First, most seed trays come with a cover to keep moisture high. These omit that, which is a bit of a shame. Second, I found that the rigid trays made it a bit harder to extract my seedlings. Since the plastic is so sturdy, you can't squeeze the trays to help remove the seedlings, as I would normally do. Thankfully the cells are large enough that you can slide in a small spade to help loosen the dirt and seedling from the sides of the cell, so there are some options. On the whole this is a nice option if those two drawbacks don't interfere with your intended uses.

I usually use smaller pods but decided I wanted my plants to be bigger when I transplanted. They are good quality and reusable and my plants are doing really good.

The ones that arrived in good condition are nice, but two of the five arrived broken and are not usable. This makes me think that they will not hold up well over time, which is frustrating because these were much more expensive than other options that I looked at. My messages to customer support have gone unanswered. The three usable ones are holding up fine for right now, but we’ll see how they look at the end of growing season.
