These little soft closers work well. Nice upgrade to old cabinets. Sometimes they can squeak a bit but it’s just the rubber tab on the wooden door. A pinch of wax on the wood and all gone

This review is for the 5 Pcs Soft Close Cabinet Door Damper, Universal Soft Close Door Dampers for Cabinet Doors.I ordered these dampers to stop the doors from slamming in our bathroom and kitchen. They install easily enough with a single screw and the tension can be adjusted simply by rotating a knob. They install on the hinge side of the door, so they put quite a bit of leverage on the hinges, which makes me worry about the asymmetric force torquing the door around the top hinge. Also, they look like they're made of metal from the pictures, but the body is just silver plastic, which I have my doubts regarding long-term durability. I hope I'm wrong, and they are working fine in the short term, but I think I'll just get soft-close hinges in the future.

they came already set to their firmest setting , and did nothing to stop the bang of the door closing. Not strong enough to stop even a 12" cabinet door.

I installed these dampers on all of our kitchen cabinet doors and they work really well! No more slamming doors!

These worked well enough, but not as good as expected. The tension was inconsistent from door to door. Same size door, one damper was enough, next door needed two. The tension was set to the most extreme on all. Another tip: buy some double stick tape to help with the installation. It will make your life much easier.
