Pros Simple to hook up. I did a continuity check with breaker open and closed..works great. Very inexpensve. The Minnkota repare shop tried to get me to buy one similiar in thier shop for ..55.00 This one cost me w tax...19.00 STEAL OF A DEAL!!!Cons ZeroPreacher ChuckGod is Awesome!!

I'm using this for an inverter and it's well made, compact, and does what it's supposed to do. A dead short does open the circuit. The max constant amps I can put on it using the inverter is 120 amps and has been doing that just fine. The fact that it can be used as a battery disconnect is nice as well. If it holds up, and I have no reason to think it won't, it is a great value.

I'd like to preface this review by stating, I NEVER write reviews. But I think it's important to shed some light on this product. It's junk. Simply put it trips out at 60 amps, not 100. I had it in use for two applications for a house bank charging system for a van.... One in series on a DC/DC charger, the other in series on a AC/DC charger. BOTH 100 amp breakers in use with 60 amp chargers. After months of troubleshooting, trying to figure out if it was a charger fault, or maybe a short to ground, I swapped these junk breakers out with BlueSeas system breakers (twice as much money) and the charging system worked just fine. I guess you get what you pay for! Also it took me so long to trouble shoot the problem, I passed the return period so I'm stuck eating the cost of these breakers... If you are looking for a reliable charging system (or any electrical system for that matter) DO NOT by this product. Dish out the extra cash for the Blue Seas breakers.......

I'm not sure if 250 amp is overkill. I connected my 1500 watt inverter with 1/0 wires and I've never tripped this breaker yet. I have overloaded the inverter and made it shut off, but the breaker never tripped.

I had to cut the connectors because they were to small for the poles on my MinnKotta power centre.....but it works fine!

This breaker works as advertised but my only complaint is that it did not mount as nicely as my old breaker and did not even come with bolts to attach it to the bracket. Had to secure it with zip ties!!!

Pretty good breaker overall. Installed in a 2019 f150 for an emergency equipment installation. Unit was tested and does trip at the proper 80 amps.The plastic does feel like lesser quality then bussman breakers but without a doubt a very solid unit
