Used for waverunner lift, 3-person type-worked great. Old cable was a bit rusted as something stored outside and on a lake for 10+ years will become. Snapped one day while i was raising the waverunner and good thing nobody was hurt. Ordered this one on amazon and it arrived quickly. Just had to measure the line needed and cut to length. Tip, it is a braided cable so tape up the part you are cutting so it does not fray while cutting. I used a hacksaw with a metal blade in a vice and it was fine. 10 mins later strung it through the hoist, bolted on and it worked perfectly. This one says “stainless”, but it depends on how good of quality to determine if/how fast it may rust. Check the diameter of your existing cable—if it matches this is a good replacement option for you.

Just well made with attention to detail The thimble in the eye is stainless and the crimps on the stainless ferrules are perfect. I ordered the stainless hook and they installed it on the stainless cable. The cable will probably last longer than the winch.
