9th (solo/non-paired) pin is on positioned opposite of common config for motherboard and USB extension. (I had to move the unpaired cable to the opposite side). The vendor should consider changing the configuration, so as to match the common motherboard and USB extension (9th pin should be on opposite side [unless, of course, I happened to get an odd one...I cannot recall]).

I needed to connect an totalphase aardvark I2C pod to Linear Tech Development Kit and it fit the bill after moving a few wires around.

My laptop motherboard died but the quad core i7, RAM and SSD's were perfectly fine so I bought a WADE 8021 motherboard for cheap on ebay to swap the components into as well as a small micro ITX Silverstone case. The WADE board does not use standard 2.54mm pitch front panel I/O headers so I had to get this cable to attach to the motherboard and then run my power button, LED's, reset switch, etc to the pins on this adapter.Works exactly as I wanted.

WARNING: it's hard to see from the photo, and is not mentioned in the description, but this is a 9-conductor cable, despite 10-pin connectors at each end. One of the corner positions of each connector is unpopulated.
