This is strong cord that doesn't stretch at all, which is what I wanted. I was surprised how difficult this was to cut, even with sharp scissors. The center cord did not want to cut. It is easy to melt the ends with a flame. I needed to put a knot in this, and I will say that it does not knot well. Hopefully the knot stays.

Have been looking for lighter weight cord for a specific project. Rather than getting the cotton cord, the poly cord elevate the overall look with a subtle sheen finish. The color is spot on and the cord is very durable. Very pleased with the quality and would like to purchase again for different colors.

Very abrasive. I do not recommend for ment to use a softer and more plyable cordage.

This crochet yarn is pretty good for the projects listed in the title, but not right for crocheting clothes. I was hoping I could use it to crochet a swimsuit coverup, but it's to rough on skin for that purpose. Anyway I found a good use to it - storage basket. I couldn't wait to start crocheting, so now I can attach the image of the final result, of which I was really satisfied. I like the yarn's color and texture, it is a bit glossy like satin. It was also pleasant to discover that the yarn comes in set with a hook, a lace band, and 8 stich markers. Although I didn't need the lace, it will come in handy for another project. I think that the price is very reasonable for what you get.

I've been looking for a synthetic macramé cord that could be used to make attractive but simple necklace cords for the pendants that I make. This color, cannon pink, is great. It is exactly as shown in the images and the color is very specific. It can take me a long time to find cord in colors and tones that I really like. This color works well with gold, copper, rose gold, antique, bronze, or silver findings. It's a neutral color that can be used with a wide variety of other complimentary colors, metals, stones or beads. The other thing I was drawn to with this cord besides the obvious color and the bulk supply of cord is the diameter or size of the cord and the weave. It's a good stable weave, it is attractive and doesn't pull apart or split like the twisted or simple braid style macramé cords.Since this is synthetic material, and not cotton, I could use a thread burning tool to melt the raw ends, leaving a finished edge that can be secure and will not draw any attention, and have a low profile that is impossible with knotting. This cord is thick enough to use as a single strand or it can be woven into a cool thicker style of necklace that is a work of art on its own. I like these cord style necklaces so that they can be worn continuously without worry that the cord will degrade and break, or feel strange, if they get wet in the shower. This can be left on for swimming and should hold up, and feel comfortable. It's a way to wear bracelets and necklaces without worrying about losing or breaking a valuable item, and since the cord is synthetic and woven in a complex style, it shouldn't stretch out either. The cord is as expected. I don't have enough experience with it to know how it will actually hold up over time during use as I intend it, but I'll update when I have more experience. UV and household or cell and wifi frequencies are probably the biggest concern so I wouldn't allow this cord to be in direct sunlight too much. I know that is a problem for all plastics. This is a good product and great for macramé and weaving, braiding for home décor, crafts, fashion design, etc.I will update with more photos. I'm still designing and playing with the material. I looked at the other colors, and cannon pink is not the only great color available, judging by the thumbnails.5 stars

I bought this yarn/cord because my cat loves to play with string. Went through a whole skein (or whatever you call it?) of a different brand. Had to cut a new string every couple days because it frayed with her play. This one won't break! She chews on it, digs her claws in it, and this bad boy just keeps on going. If you are using it for crochet, this cord would make very durable clothing.
