A great way to stop RF from traveling on your cables. In my radio room, every time I would transmit on a radio, my paper shredder started to run. It wasn't too hard to figure out why. I stalled these chokes on the power cables, and presto, no problem. Keep a supply of these around if you have an RF problem. It doesn't hurt to put them on a cable or power line.

I'm using these snap-on ferrite suppressors on the cables in my multi-PC desk setup. They are an inexpensive way to reduce potential RF coming from cables that might cause interference. I like the range of sizes to fit small USB cables up to heavy-duty AC cords. They all fit on well and don't slide along cord. Ferrite halves come in contact fully when closed, important for the best RF suppression. Actual accepted cable was about 0.5mm smaller for the 9mm, 7mm, and 5mm sizes. They were a little finicky about closing (squeezing on the sides by the snap worked better than on the two halves). They unsnap easily with a fingernail. This is a good value for a set that will cover most needs.
