I do my own oil changes and I never changed the oil drain plug gasket. No wonder I would be low a quart of oil each time I changed my oil. I always thought it was an oil pan gasket. Now I have a 25 piece supply and this will last me for almost the lifetime of my car (Oil change every 5,000 miles x 25 oil changes = 125,000 miles). Perfect fit and looks exactly the same as my original gasket.
