There are Far PD and Near PD. If you are a dentist, you need to choose Far PD, but need to reduce 4mm, for example Far PD is 63mm, that mean dental working distance Near PD should be 59mm, then you need to choose Near PD variation when place order. If you are surgeon, you can use the Near PD 61mm data directly but need to send message to seller that you are surgeon.If your Near Pupil distance is not included into loupes variations, please choose Other Near PD, and leave your Near interpupillary distance in the message and we will customize it according to your size.

2. Choose the Near Pupil Distance (very important)
Measure your Near Pupil Distance according to your working distance,For examples: Your working distance is 420mm, please looking at the objects far away from your eyes with 420mm distance (your position should be same as your working position, looking down), at the same time measure the pupil distance, and then choose the pupil distance, if your pupil distance has different with your right eyes and left eyes, when you checking out, please leave message indicate it.
If you know your Far PD, for example it is 66mm, your Near PD at 420mm working distance should be about 62mm.so you need to choose Near PD 62mm variation when you place order. Near PD included into Loupes variations are all at 420mm working distance.

As an orthodontic assistant for 24 years, it was fine to get a pair of loupes. I received mine in a timely fashion and I can’t believe how amazing they look and feel!!!!!!! Very happy with this purchase!!!!! I might get another pair as a back up lol!
