Love it won’t use another plate PERIODDon’t even have to use any adhesive just warm soapy water dry and print even abs and asa sticks good with very little to no warping thank you!!!

I routinely use PEI-coated steel plates on my modified Ender 3 Pro 3D printer. They generally work very well and I like the use of magnets to hold the plate in place on the bed of the 3D printer – this makes it very easy to install and remove. Because it can be flexed it makes it easy to pop printed models off the bed. However, they don’t work forever and, after dozens of prints, a plate can start delaminating and become tatty. I find that I need to get a new PEI plate after several months of use. Each time I get a new plate, I get another magnetic pad for an ever-growing collection. I like that this PEI plate from HzdaDeve doesn’t ship with a redundant magnetic pad and the price seems to be much reduced because of this.This PEI plate was packaged in a sealed plastic bag inside a flexible thin black bubble-wrap type bag. This is not a good way to pack this sheet where flatness is so important – the steel sheet could have been easily bent during transit and handling. All other PEI plates I’ve ordered have been well protected in a stout cardboard box with foam padding. Fortunately, the plate I ordered had no damage on delivery.This new PEI plate fitted the Ender 2 Pro perfectly and was strongly held in place by the magnetic pad installed for a previous plate. Both sides of the plate have a PEI textured coating. Note that this product is also compatible with later Ender 3 models so there are locating notches at the back of the plate which will restrict the available print area slightly on my printer. My first prints were with Amazon Basics TPU and I found that adhesion was very poor with the print nozzle set to 220°C and bed set to 60°C – models became loose in mid-print. I used a PVP gluestick to successfully fix this poor adhesion.While adhesion wasn’t as good as other plates I’ve used, this was easily fixed with PVP gluestick. For a current price of less than $14, this is the cheapest PEI plate I’ve seen and represents a good bargain.
