If you have a car without a temperature gauge and you want to install one, these provide a very simple way to install the temperature sensor and the price is wwwaaayyyy better than I found at any car parts place either online or at a brick and mortar store. No leakage with the right size, installs very easily, does exactly what you need it to for less than half of what some places charge.

The clamps would probably work on my radiator hose but the part itself has very small pipes plus Ive never seen a temp gauge with that little of hole for the sensor tube plus the sensor would have to be very short to fit in the cavity.

It is a nicely machined piece, but the wall thickness in the clamping area is less than 0.020" thick. My piece broke/cracked during install making it useless. It is nice they include hose clamps but they are garbage. There are lot's of sharp edges that will cut into your nice silicone hoses. I will make my own
