This awning has been helpful in the intense Florida sun. We take occasional road trips to areas to use our air rifles, and this provides good shade. Installation was straightforward, especially since I already had a roof rack. It bolts right onto it without any issues. Having a helper makes it much easier. Setup is simple: unzip it, pull it out, extend the arms, and tie it to the car. So far, it’s held up well in some wind. I carry a few 3-gallon buckets filled with sand to secure the awning just in case the wind gets too strong. The buckets are mainly a precaution. The awning is self-supporting with no legs, which made me skeptical at first, but it’s sturdy and handles more than I expected. If you spend a lot of time outdoors and want an easy way to get shade, this is a good option. Be sure to do some research beforehand to ensure you have what’s needed to connect it to your car. It’s been worth it for me and a solid purchase.

Ok so this is a pretty cool awning system that does a great job of keeping the sun and weather off of you. Once it's put together it folds out fairly quickly and pain free . Provides ton of shade. Love that it has built in lights. It's great for a ton of different applications . It all seems to be pretty high end and made well but I gave 4 stars because it took many months to arrive and the zipper came messed up on the one end which makes it impossible to unzip completely or to even zip up and this also makes it's pain to unfold and fold back up

I haven’t used this yet in the field, but have it mounted and opened it a few times and I can honestly say, I’m shocked how good the quality is since it’s the cheapest 270 awning I could find on Amazon. I highly doubt there’s any difference between this and the one that cost $1-200 more than it.The awning fabric feels like a quality fabric that will last, I was honestly shocked at how good the quality of the bag felt when I opened the box, I was half expecting to be very disappointedMy only negative, the bolts they give you, if you use the bolt with the backing plate that slide into the groove, those are cheap Chinese ones that snap when you make them snug, I snapped 6/8. But they do also include another type of Allen head bolt/ plate with threaded hole, to mount it with. And those will not snap.I would definitely recommend this and would certainly buy this again

I am very impressed with this awning, especially for the price. Everything is well built and great quality. The brackets are heavy duty, I am not worried about them bending. It comes with all the hardware to install on various types of roof racks or crossbars. It does need a channel for the included hardware, no U-Bolts. The lights is a USB connector with a touch sensitive switch closer to the awning side vice USB side.The end lashing is a metal quick release buckle. It also includes 5 tie down ropes and decent stakes.Overall I highly recommend, great product for a great price.
