Canopy looks nice, but is completely unusable since the brackets are such poor quality that they bent before I could even use it. The brackets can barely support the canopy closed let alone open.

This awning is awesome. The ONLY nit I can pick is that I wish it had a kickstand to help with runoff. However, I bought this primarily to combat sun, so this is of little to no consequence.The build quality is wonderful, setup time is nonexistent, and the coverage/weight ratio is phenomenal. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.50% more coverage area than my previous LTE awning. If you are even vaguely considering a 270, I doubt there is a better bargain to be found. 100% bada$$ Best money I have spent on camping gear after the RTT and 12V fridges.

EDIT/UPDATE: I've had it for about a year now, used more times than I can count. I'll add any new information to my initial review.Overall: If you want an awning, get this one. It is excellent quality and is exactly what I wanted.Installation: Very easy to install. I did it alone, but I recommend having a buddy to help lift it. The mounting brackets are very high quality. The only issue with the mounting hardware is that there are no instructions on torque, so I broke a bolt by over torquing. Be carefull not to over tighten. It's absolutely rock solid.Appearance/quality:The fabric is heavy duty denier. It has a waterproof coating and has sealed seams. Took rain no problem. Also handled ocean wind/salt water numerous times as well.The bars that hold it are nice. How and where you mount the awning will decide how much they hang down. It can be unsupported without the legs, but you will need to use the ratcheting straps to hold it open. The built in lights are a nice touch.The legs are a mixed bag. The legs have good hole spacing but you will need to measure your legs and drill button holes at your installation height. The legs are heavy duty metal legs but are attached with abs plastic to the awning. So on day 1, the leg snapped off when I over extended it. Customer service was amazing and sent me a new leg for free. Quick swap and it was good to go. Just be aware that is a significant weak point in the design.Small things you need to know. It comes with a bag to cary your tent poles and rope, the 2 ratcheting pulleys to keep your awning open, and the cables for the lights. One small gripe is the cable. There is a pouch to put a usb power bank in to power your lights. The cable is 1 USB to the 4 light bar power cables. The pouch is in the back of the awning, but all the cable legs are the same length. So when it's all plugged in, the split is in the middle and dangles in the center. This could be fixed with the legs of the cable being different lengths, 1 long one to go to the front light bar, and 3 short ones for the light bars right next to the pouch. Very minor gripe and is just a looks issue.The awning cover is awesome and has a great zipper, even in the mud. The awning is folded in, rolled up, and secured with straps. Then the cover is zipped up around it.Overall this thing is absolutely incredible.I can't reccomend this thing enough. I was saving up for some of the other ones before coming across this one. Took a chance and I'm so glad I did. Great product and customer service as well. I absolutely best my truck up camping in national forests ALL the time. I expect a lot from the stuff I hang on my truck. This awning absolutely delivers.
