The part was a used part that had been crudely spray painted to appear new. You can see the lines from where the masking tape had been. The real problem with this is that the fluid channels and mating surface were also painted and were already flaking. Using this part would send material into the transmission and damage it. Since it was a used part, there was no guarantee how long it would have lasted anyway. There was oil in the bag it was in and no o-rings or gasket was in the package like is advertised.

The solenoid did not function with enough force to operate. I will advise not to buy this item since it is just a non-functioning old part that was repainted.
