This is a great mount for the newer smaller projectors with only one mounting hole . This mount is longer than any other I have been able to find , which is great for my 10 ft. ceiling . It's very good quality and I would buy again .

Hang your smaller, cheaper units with this. Seek something beefier for your high-dollar unit.For said smaller units, it's rather perfect for ceiling mount jobs. I guess I could see how using it in an upright installation might work, but I'd want to make sure whatever I'm using as the base is definitely clear of any foot traffic.
